Prepare a mixture of Turmeric powder and castor oil throughout the surface of the utensil and keep it still for 24 hrs
At 2nd Day, Prepare a mixture of rice starch water and fill it in a vessel right up to the neck and keep it for 24 hours
At 3rd day, Repeat the procedure followed on second-day
4th , 5th , and 6th day Repeat the same procedure
On 7th Day, If the Cooked rice poured on the surface remains non-stick, your vessel is ready for use.
Once the Process is completed, Soapstone will have a natural non-stick surface. You can cook food with little to no oil. This simple seasoning process can improves the surface and increase the life of the Soapstone.
